Spring Constant
| Definition |
| The spring constant is the constant relating the distance a spring is stretched beyond its equilibrium position to the force the spring generates pulling back towards that equilibrium. It is used not only with springs, but with any system, where the relation between distance from equilibrium and force is linear. |
