Magnetic Field Strength
| Definition |
| Magnetic field strength can be used in two different contexts. In the more general definition, magnetic field strength simply refers to the magnitude of the magnetic field at a point. Another use of the term, however, is to designate magnetic field strength as the component of the magnetic field due solely to external electric currents, independent of a material's magnetic response. |
